Willoughby Rotary Foundation initiates their “Dreams Come True” Raffle

Grand Prize winner to receive a New 2007 Corvette or $40,000 in Cash

Willoughby, OH - On October 13th, the Willoughby Rotary Foundation will make someone's dream come true, by giving them their choice of a new 2007 Corvette Coupe 1LT, with a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price of $44, 995.00 or $40,000 in cash. A second prize of $1,000 cash and third prize of $500 cash will also be given away.

This is the first year for the raffle, chosen by the Rotary board as their primary annual fundraiser.

A maximum of only 800 raffle tickets will be sold, and ticket holders will not need to be present at the drawing to win. Raffle and prize information can be found online at willoughbyrotary.org, where tickets can also be purchased by anyone age 21 and over. Tickets are also available from Willoughby Rotary members.

The Raffle drawing will be conducted as part of the Willoughby Rotary Foundation's Dreams Come True Charity Ball, the sole fundraiser for the organization. This will be the 22nd annual charity ball. Michelle Hauser, Chairperson of the 2007 Charity Ball committee, is looking forward to the spectacular event, to be held at the Kirtland Country Club, on October 13, 2007. In describing the evening of delectable cuisine, fine music, dancing and fun, she said, "This year's ball offers several new and exciting twists to make the evening more enjoyable. Adding the raffle with a grand prize of $40,000 cash or a new Corvette will make it even more fun for everyone, but a true dream come true for one lucky person!" The new Corvette is being provided at a special discounted cost from Pat O’Brien Chevrolet in Willoughby Hills.

As always, all proceeds from the 2007 raffle will benefit a variety of local charities, scholarships and Rotary humanitarian programs that demonstrate a meaningful financial need by written request. The Willoughby Foundation determines recipients and distributes all funds raised each year at an annual luncheon.
